Dr. Andrew J. Kaplan is a board-certified cardiac electrophysiologist with more than three decades of experience spanning advanced cardiac rhythm management, heart failure, cardiovascular clinical research, digital health, artificial intelligence, and medical device innovation.
His academic training at the University of Texas Southwestern Medical School, Duke University Medical Center, and Emory University School of Medicine provided the foundation for a career distinguished by clinical service, scientific inquiry, and cardiovascular innovation.
Throughout his career, he has served as Principal Investigator or Co-Investigator for more than sixty multicenter clinical trials, advised leading medical technology companies, and helped translate emerging innovations into practical clinical care.
His current work focuses on artificial intelligence, digital health, remote physiologic monitoring, cardiovascular device innovation, and clinical workflow transformation, with the goal of improving outcomes while making technology more useful for clinicians and patients.
